Minca is a corregimiento of the city of Santa Marta, in the department of Magdalena, about 15 kilometers from the historic center of La Perla de América and located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, the highest coastal mountain in the world.
This little town is a perfect natural destination to enjoy waterfalls, rivers, wells, long walks, impressive natural viewpoints and bird watching.
To get to Minca you must first get to Santa Marta, a city that you can get to by car, plane or bus from anywhere in Colombia.
Bus Cartagena to Santa Marta: 4 hours and from $40,000
MedellÃn to Santa Marta: 15 hours and from $150,000

In Santa Marta, the most comfortable and safest option is to take one of the buses that leave from the Public Market (carrera 9 with calle 11), the round trip ticket is priced at $16,000 and the journey lasts 45 minutes.
In Minca you will find many lodgings surrounded by a lot of nature, and among the most popular are: Finca Hostal BolÃvar, Reserva Natural Tierra Adentro, Siembra Boutique Hostel, Finca San Rafael and Finca Carpe Diem Ecolodge.
However, our favorite accommodation in Minca is Casas Viejas by Masaya, we stayed there after our trip to Ciudad Perdida and it was a totally pleasant experience.
There are many plans to make and you will not regret it, I assure you.
In what you need and I can help you tell me.
Saludos parceros!
