According to a study by the Living Cost consultancy, which shows the most expensive and cheapest place to live in Colombia, the cheapest place to live with less than one and a half million pesos per month is the municipality of Sogamoso , in Boyacá.
In said city a person needs 325 dollars to survive; followed by municipalities such as Popayán, Maicao and Neiva, with 320 dollars, 342 dollars, and 350 dollars, respectively.
In Cartagena, a person needs 771 dollars, or more than $3.5 million, where the cost of living is most marked by rent and public services, which together represent 461 dollars (2.1 million pesos).
