Over the weekend, I went with a friend to see what prostitutes in Colombia were like. I had been there over 5 years ago when I was doing my university internships.
I have never paid for sex because it doesn't make sense to me. I don't see the reason to pay for something that you can obtain through mutual attraction and connection.
I went to a place called "Paisas" in the Santa Fe neighborhood in downtown Bogotá. (That place is dangerous, but back then it was safe because a security guard told me the owners were paramilitaries, and if anything happened there with the clients, they would kill the person).
For example, if someone robbed a client in that place, the thief would end up dead or tortured and dismembered. That was several years ago. The women would do strip shows for 50,000 Colombian pesos (10-14 dollars). That's what I remember, you had to buy a bottle of liquor to request a show.
That day we went because a friend was getting married, so we went for some drinks and they asked for a show.
I have to say that at that time, I was at least 22 years old and a loser.
However, back then, those women seemed average to me. Normal. Maybe because I have been with better women, I wasn't attracted to that world. That's the reality. In university, I was with better women even though I was poor, skinny, and shy. So, I didn't go crazy watching the show.
The people who pay for prostitutes are actually unable to get any women, that's why they do it. Losers. However, I don't judge them, it's just the reality. Everyone makes their own decisions, but today I'm going to tell you why it's not worth it.
This week, I decided to go to be able to write an article for Substack since I have an international audience and wanted to see how everything was
The place was supposedly the best in Bogotá. It's near Parque de la 93.
They are like houses where they play music until 6 am when they close, but there are more places in that area.
